Food and Fun 10-year Celebratory Awards 2025

The Food and Fun programme started as a pilot by Cardiff Council to help children during school holidays. The programme now runs in schools across the whole country, delivered by the Welsh Local Government Association.

Holocaust Memorial Day is a national day that takes place on 27 January

Schools are encourage, to take part by using our new education film for students aged 14+ (Year 9 and up) and is accompanied by updated guidance to support reflection and discussion in schools and other learning settings. More resources on Holocaust Memorial Day will be available on the Hwb for you to use.

Hate Hurts Wales provides further information about hate crime and Meic offers free, confidential support to learners who may be affected by themes raised.
