Treatment for UTIs now available in majority of Welsh pharmacies

From October, 99% of community pharmacies will be able to treat urinary tract infections (UTI) for those 16-64, as part of the Common Ailments Service.

This latest expansion of the Common Ailments Service will increase access to NHS care for 28 common conditions, including chickenpox, sore throats, acne and urinary tract infection.

This is part of our commitment to ensure people can receive more convenient care closer to home.
