Update on Welsh Government's Guidance on Trans, Non-Binary, and Gender-Questioning Learners
The Welsh Government has confirmed there will be a delay to the consultation of its draft guidance on supporting trans, non-binary, and gender-questioning learners, initially planned for early 2025.
Welsh Government is exploring ways we can support schools to be inclusive spaces for learners, including working with the youth work sector to improve support in schools and settings with secondary aged learners.

Introducing the Youth Work Training Academy for Wales – a pilot initiative providing innovative, flexible professional learning for Youth Work practitioners. We are recruiting for two roles:

Youth Work Tutor Assessor – supporting flexible qualification routes for part-time or restricted-hours staff.

Youth Work Trainer – developing and delivering topical, high-quality training.
