Welsh Medium ALN Effective Practice Event

Personalised assessments: planning ahead 

Remember that personalised assessments are available for flexible use throughout the year. If you wish, you can use them early in the school year and then use the feedback and other reports to help with your planning for learner progression. The assessments can be taken a second time later in the year to assess progress.

Institute of Physics Cymru: Maths for GCSE Physics

When you’re dealing with the maths in your GCSE Physics lessons, do you sometimes feel like you’ve just divided by zero? Do you secretly wish calculators did the thinking? Join our sessions and conquer the maths of GCSE Physics!  All sessions on Monday, online, 7pm to 8pm.

Learn Wales Cymru: Residential Courses for the education sector

This is an opportunity for individuals who work in schools in Wales and are at the start of their language journey to study on a residential course at Canolfan Pentre Ifan in Pembrokeshire.

This is a fully funded full board residential course. Costs for travelling and supply for the school is not included.

British Council: Travel grant funding opportunity 

UK secondary schools with established partnerships with French schools are invited to apply for a one-off grant of up to £5,000 to support international travel for young people. Applications are open until 31 January 2025. Key details, eligibility and more information
