History resource workshops: share your thoughts

Register your interest by 17 December 2024.

We are looking for primary and secondary teachers who are eager to participate in research workshops to assist the process of creating Welsh History resources. Adnodd are keen to receive teachers' views from all Areas of Learning and Experience, and especially those with responsibility for history or one of the cross-curricular areas.

Curriculum grants scheme: applications now open

Grants will be awarded from April 2025 for up to 3 financial years to a range of organisations to support curriculum priorities under a new Curriculum for Wales grant support programme.

Public Health Wales (PHW): vaping guidance for parents and carers

The guide includes tips for how to spot the potential signs of vaping, and how to approach a conversation about it. PHW has previously produced an information and guidance resource on vaping for secondary-aged learners in Wales which includes data and evidence-based information for schools including how they can respond to and help address vaping within their setting through policy, practices, and curriculum content.

Careers Wales: calling all language, literacy & communication teachers

The session will cover your CWRE statutory obligations and also include a facilitated discussion with other teachers of Language, Literacy & Communication to share ideas and good practice of embedding CWRE within the Area of Learning.

e-sgol: Cyber Stars

Register your talented learners by 17 January 2025.

"Cyber Stars" is the latest module in e-sgol's 'E-xpanding Horizons' project for year 5 and 6 learners with a talent for IT. The course will touch on skills that are usually presented in secondary school, so it's important that learners have the ability to cope with this level of content.

Big Welsh Rhyme Time

10 to 14 February 2025

The week-long campaign aims to promote and encourage fun and enjoyable rhyme sharing activity for young children in Wales aged 0-5, in Welsh and English.
