Nursery education: toolkit and guide
This toolkit helps childcare settings explain curriculum changes to parents and carers and the impact on children’s learning experiences. A guide for parents and carers of 3 and 4 year olds is available and can be shared with parents and carers to help them make informed decisions on their child’s nursery education.
Personalised Assessments are mandatory in 2024 to 2025 but there is no specific ‘window’ for using them. Schools have the flexibility to schedule the personalised assessments at any point during the academic year that they consider is most beneficial to inform learning, teaching and progression planning.
