Roads in Wales were safer this spring compared to last, latest stats show

The latest police recorded road collision stats from April – June 2024 show that both collisions and casualties on 20mph and 30mph roads (combined) have fallen by 24% compared to the same period of 2023.

£28m to help cut long hospital waiting times

The funding will pay for more evening and weekend appointments and regional working to target waiting times in specialties such as orthopaedics, ophthalmology, general surgery and gynaecology.
