Salaried PGCE for AY2024/25 open for applications

Work in a school and aspire to teach? From September 2024 there are funded places available for primary and secondary student teachers. Welsh medium secondary student teachers could also have 100% of their salary funded by Welsh Government. Further information including links on how to apply:

Personalised Assessments

  • Reading: new content - The Personalised Assessments now have new types of questions for our youngest learners and emerging readers. Schedule your Personalised Assessments early in the term to make the most of the reports generated by the system and to ensure the dates you prefer are available on the system. 

  • Braille booklets - Please remember that learners who are using Braille versions of the assessments will require tactile diagrams for Numeracy (Procedural) and Braille booklets for Reading in order to complete their assessments. You should allow two weeks for delivery of these materials, so make sure that you order them in good time for your planned date of assessment: helpdesk 029 2026 5099 or help@personalisedassessments.wales

Talent Forum 2024 event at Swansea University

Wednesday 1 May 2024, 9.45am - 4pm

Teachers and students in Years 11,12 and 13 are invited to attend this year’s SEMI Talent Forum at Swansea University’s Bay Campus. The event will introduce the world of semiconductors and their applications in everything from Smartphones, Electric Vehicles and Artificial Intelligence to teachers and students.
