As part of its action plan to achieve Wales’ anti-racist ambition across further education (FE), the Welsh Government commissioned this research into the extent and impacts of racism on learners and staff.
The next Anti-racist Wales Action Plan webinar will focus on education and working towards anti-racism. Speakers include Professor Emmanuel Ogbonna PhD, FAcSS, FCIPD, FBAM, FLSW (Cardiff University), Professor Charlotte Williams OBE (Bangor University), and Enfys Dixey, Marian Jebb, and Craig Greenland from Welsh Government. If your Year 13 Seren learners are applying to a top university this autumn, don’t forget to encourage them to register on the Seren Academy mentoring programme where they get 1-1 support preparing for university applications/interviews. Registering is easy; complete the registration form by 27 October and we’ll find them a mentor as soon as possible.
