Help Us Help You - Optometry campaign

Optometry

The campaign is to inform the public about services available from their local optometrist for the detection and prevention of a range of eye problems. The campaign launched on the 24th July and will run until the end of September 2023 across social and digital media.

The first phase of the campaign focused on parents of young children, encouraging them to take their children for free sight tests.

The second phase of the campaign is focusing on reaching adults aged 35-45 and people from the Black African Caribbean and the Asian communities, who may not be having regular eye tests.  We are highlighting that regular eye-health checks can help detect or prevent serious problems like glaucoma and diabetes and that eye health treatment is free on the NHS.

This new asset bank link contains all the optometry assets: Welsh Government Communications Services Digital Toolkit (brandkitapp.com)
