Eisteddfod yr Urdd: Trafod Addysgeg (Talk Pedagogy)
If you are visiting Eisteddfod yr Urdd next week why not pop over to the Welsh Government’s stand on Tuesday 30 May, 2-3pm for a Talk Pedagogy panel discussion with representation from schools, Estyn and consortia.
Following public consultation on the refreshed ‘Criteria for the accreditation of Initial Teacher Education programmes in Wales’, the updated document has been published. The final report from the independent evaluation of the professional standards for teaching and leadership and the professional standards for assisting teaching is now available.
Further information available to clarify the arrangements for the implementation of the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 (ALN Act) from September 2023 to August 2025.

Adobe have created a series of monthly challenges for pupils age 8-14 which schools are welcome to use throughout the year.
Following the latest Policy Insight on new Curriculum for Wales professional learning resources, an asynchronous version is now available on Hwb.
On Monday 16 October 2023 to mark Restart a Heart Day, the Welsh Ambulance Service will be coordinating CPR training to students across secondary schools in Wales.
