The National Lottery Days Out Campaign is back for summer 2023

Visit Wales is working closely with VisitBritain, who are delighted to announce a new National Lottery Days Out campaign 2023, launching this Summer.  The new campaign that launches on 3 July 2023 will allow National Lottery ticket holders to receive a £25 voucher to spend on any participating experience available on the VisitBritain Shop. The campaign is fully sponsored by the National Lottery Days Out initiative with particular emphasis on visits taking place during Autumn half term up to January 2024.

If you are a business already connected to TXGB please ensure you have selected VisitBritain shop as a distributor, have live availability from 3 July for at least 6 months and have availability to book throughout the week. There may still be time to join the campaign later on if you are not currently connected to VisitBritain Shop/TXGB and wish to take part, please find further details here:  National Lottery Days Out Campaign - summer 2023 | Business Wales (gov.wales)

World Travel Market, 6-8 November 2023 - register by noon 5 July

Interested in promoting your business to the international Travel Trade including tour operators and travel agents? Join us at World Travel Market (WTM), the leading global event for the travel industry, taking place 6-8 November 2023 at ExCeL London.

Exhibiting at WTM provides a unique opportunity to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business with more than 50,000 international travel professionals, from more than 38 sectors of the travel industry.  We’ve secured space for the Wales partners on the UKinbound stand, which is in a prime location at the front of the UK and Ireland Hall.

To participate you must be interested and able to contract, sell through the Travel Trade and offer commission/net rates. Any accommodation providers must be Visit Wales or AA graded.  Activity providers need to go through the Visit Wales Accreditation Scheme where required.

To support the recovery of the industry, heavily discounted Visit Wales rates are now available for a partner pod: our subsidy will enable eligible partners to join us at 2022 subsidised rates in spite of price rises for 2023 (subsidy of 50% off 2022 stand participation costs for Welsh tourism suppliers, subject to MFA/SAFA/de minimis regulation).

Partner pod: £3,330 + VAT, if granted 50% subsidy of 2022 participation, subject to MFA/SAFA /de minimis aid regulation (full pod cost is now £7,990 + VAT). At this time meeting table options are not available.

Full details and how to book are available at: Travel Trade Events | Business Wales (gov.wales)

To secure your pod, please register by noon 5 July 2023. For further information email traveltradewales@gov.wales
