AWCIC - Learn and Share: How do you hold a Citizens’ Assembly?

This series of events will share in real time (i.e. as it happens!) the experiences from Natural Resources Wales of establishing and hosting a citizens’ assembly.

They will be an opportunity to learn about the ins and outs of setting up a citizens’ assembly – share some key challenges and lessons learnt – with the aim to co-develop some insights that might be used to set a standard for future citizens’ assemblies in Wales.

AWCIC - Learn and Share: Social Partnership and Public Procurement Bill

During this session you will learn about the forthcoming Social Partnership & Public Procurement Bill which makes provision for workers voices to contribute to shaping policies, activities and strategic priorities both at a national government level and within certain public sector organisations. The Bill also makes certain public sector bodies use the power of their public spending to deliver outcomes that create fair work opportunities.

Academi Wales' Expert Panel was formed in 2022. Replacing the previous Advisory Board, this move to an Expert Panel reflects our new strategy and direction of travel.

Our Expert Panel brings together a group of individuals willing to use their expertise and experience to advise on key leadership challenges and opportunities in Wales.

Academi's elves!

Volunteers from Academi Wales helped to sort over 800 Christmas present donations for Save the Children on International Volunteer Day earlier this month.

The presents will go to children in Caerphilly, Rhondda Cynon Taff and Neath Port Talbot areas.
