  Census 2021

Welsh Language in Wales, 2021 Census

Next Tuesday morning (6/12/22) at 0930, we’ll publish the initial Welsh language results of Census 2021 on our website. That afternoon, at 1400, we’ll be holding an online public session about those statistics. The session will include information on:

  • How the number and percentage of those aged three and over who can speak Welsh has changed over time
  • How these differences vary by age, county and small area
  • How the ability of the population aged three and over to understand spoken Welsh, and to read and write Welsh has changed over time.

Here’s the link: https://liveeventstream.online/cyfrifiad-census-2021

There’s no need to register and do feel free to share. We’ll publish a video of the session on our website too.
