Get involved in recruitment into Initial Teacher Education. We are looking for individuals who can provide an independent, balanced input, offering expertise and advice to support ITE Partnerships in meeting their actions identified within the Welsh Government’s Initial Teacher Education Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Recruitment plan including developing their own recruitment plans.

Since 2020, we have been running ‘Policy Insight Events’ to keep stakeholders up to date with professional learning developments. The interactive 1 hour sessions are delivered by school practitioners seconded to Welsh Government. They are held virtually and are also made available asynchronously as a video or Hwb playlist. Are your learners using the familiarisation assessments?
All learners should use familiarisation assessments ahead of taking the live assessments. They can be used at any time and are accessed by learners by clicking » Personalised Assessments » Familiarisation assessments whilst logged into their Hwb account. Learners will see and try the different question types and how to navigate through the assessments. This is especially important for Numeracy (Reasoning) which includes hints and audio clips.
