UN Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) is taking place in September 2021. There are two upcoming opportunities for you to be part of this.
UNFSS Competition - Best Small Business: Good Food for All
The UNFSS has launched a competition, ‘Best Small Business: Good Food for All’, to identify the best 50 businesses (globally) in the food industry who are making a positive contribution to a resilient and sustainable food system.
Do you provide healthy food that is good for the environment, good for your community and creates jobs for local people? If so, this is a great opportunity for your business, produce and its sustainable practices, to be recognised on an international stage.
The competition is open to small and medium-sized businesses (5-250 employees) from across the supply chain. As well as international recognition, there are financial rewards and all applicants will be invited to UN Food Systems Summit events.
The deadline for applications is 4 June 2021. Further information on the criteria and how to apply for the competition, as well as on the UNFSS, is available on the UNFSS website.
Food Systems Summit Dialogue: Small businesses – Good Food for All
The UN and UK Government are co-convening an interactive virtual event for SMEs from across Europe on 10 June 2021. It is a great opportunity for your views on transforming the food system to be heard on an international stage, and to showcase the work you are already doing. The discussions will inform the UNFSS.
The invitation in this link includes details on how to register.
