Single Application Form 2020

Legislation to extend the SAF deadline to 15 June has been introduced in the hope that it will alleviate the significant impact the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis is on having farm businesses.

You should notify the RPW Customer Contact Centre immediately if you are unable to access broadband or an appropriate computer to submit the online SAF by the deadline.

BPS Greening - crop diversification

As a result, of the exceptional weather and current coronavirus (COVID-19) measures, legislation has been introduced to remove the Crop Diversification rule for 2020, meaning BPS customers can qualify for Greening payment by permanent pasture and Ecological Focus Area declarations only.

The expression of interest window for Glastir Woodland Creation is now open. The closing date has been extended to 31 July 2020.

Glastir Small Grants: landscape and pollinators 2019

In response to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic the claim deadline has been extended until 30 September 2020. All claims must be submitted by this date.

Update to TB testing guidelines during coronavirus (COVID-19)

The latest update on TB testing and movements of cattle to and from common land during COVID 19 is now available.

The UK Chief Veterinary Officers are keeping these measures under constant review and adjustments to instructions will be made as appropriate.

You can send the British Cattle Movement Service updates via CTS Online, approved farm software and a self-service phone line.

Livestock keepers should continue to follow regulatory livestock reporting and registration requirements. British Cattle Movement Service (BCMS) is making temporary changes to the way you request passport amendments, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Further information is available on the link above.

Changes to permanent land or temporary land

Keepers are reminded that any changes to their use of land for livestock must be recorded via Manage My CPH. This includes any changes to permanent land and Temporary Land Associations (TLAs).

All keepers with TB restrictions are required to declare that the holding is under any form of restriction when completing Manage My CPH.

Wales Skills Matching Service

A new online service, which will match employers with jobseekers looking for agricultural, land and veterinary work during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, has been launched.

Commissioned by Welsh Government, the new pilot service is delivered by Lantra, the leading awards body for land-based industries in Wales. Skills matching forms are easy to complete and can be completed online by clicking the headline.

A consultation on changes to guidance for assessing the impact of ammonia and nitrogen from agricultural developments has been launched by Natural Resources Wales and will close on 31 August 2020.
