Urgent Notice to Holiday Accommodation Businesses
The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2020
A number of amendments have been made to ‘The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (Wales) Regulations 2020’.

Specific guidance for operators of holiday accommodation businesses in Wales be found here and cover aspects such as:
- Specific requests from the Welsh Ministers and Local Authorities
- Provision of information and services online, by phone or post ONLY
Guidance is also being issued to local authorities.
Request for Holiday Accommodation Businesses to provide accommodation for vulnerable groups
Welsh Ministers are facing a particular challenge in terms of securing sufficient accommodation for vulnerable groups, many of whom will have been displaced as a result of the Coronavirus epidemic. This letter from the Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism, Lord Elis-Thomas is asking for holiday accommodation businesses to make their accommodation available for this purpose. In view of the urgency of this matter we are seeking responses by 4pm on Tuesday 14th April 2020.
