Transfer of BPS Entitlements 2020

The application period for BPS Transfer and Lease of entitlements for 2020 is open. We must be notified by 30 April 2020 in order for the recipient to make a claim on entitlements you are receiving for the 2020 scheme year.

BPS Greening - crop diversification derogation

Rural Payments Wales will consider any requests from farmers unable to fulfil their Crop Diversification obligations on a case by case basis. Affected farmers are urged to submit their request, and evidence, using their RPW Online account as soon as possible.

Farm Business Grant

The seventh expression of interest window for the Farm Business Grant (FBG) is now open. Eligibility for the Welsh Government’s FBG requires a partner in the business to attend a Farming for the Future event organised by Farming Connect. The individual attending must be registered as a partner with FC and RPW.

Glastir Small Grants: landscape and pollinators 2019

In response to the recent flooding and ongoing wet weather the claim deadline will be extended until 31 May 2020. All claims must be submitted by this date. Any late claims will be rejected.
Cross Compliance regulations do not permit hedgerow restoration works (hedge coppicing / hedge laying) to be completed after 31 March. All hedge coppicing and hedge laying works within GSG contracts must still be completed by 31 March. Claims can be received up until 31 May. Claims must be submitted via RPW Online and include all ‘before’ and ‘after’ Geotagged photographs.

Do you need to dispose of any out of date pesticides or sheep dip?

Welsh Water has reopened a free scheme for farmers, growers, gamekeepers, foresters and land managers to safely dispose of any unwanted, out of date pesticides, herbicides and sheep dip. Click on the headline to complete the online registration form or call 01443 452716 by 5pm on 31 March 2020.
