WJEC is working as part of a consortium, led by AlphaPlus Consultancy Ltd, commissioned by Welsh Government to develop the personalised assessments. As part of this work, WJEC is providing training to schools on administering and using the personalised assessments.
In order to tailor training provision to your staff needs, we encourage all schools to complete the short online questionnaire which will be available online until 20 December.
We would encourage a representative that is aware of your school’s training needs and preferences to complete it, if they have not already done so.
Visit the page on Hwb to access numeracy (procedural) and reading assessments, learner reports, support videos and other materials. For more information about the assessments, please read our Admin Handbook, FAQs and other guidance available on Hwb.
This is a reminder for headteachers that you are required to accept the data agreement for the 2019/20 school year and review staff functions before your school can schedule any assessments.
Please ensure to update your Management Information System before scheduling any personalised assessments. The assessment website gathers the learner information from the MIS, so please remember to keep the information current.
Let us know what you would like included in the webinar training sessions.
