EU-funded programme's 5,000 jobs milestone

Accelerated Growth Programme

An EU-funded programme which is supporting SMEs to grow and expand has created its 5,000th job.

Business Wales’ Accelerated Growth Programme has been a major success since its inception in 2015, and reached the milestone as Tiago Szabo started work as a factory operator for Wrexham based automotive design and manufacture company Hi-Mark.

EU Commission launches photo competition - #MySocialEurope

#MySocialEurope

The #MySocialEurope photo competition, which aims to promote awareness of social Europe and social rights, is open to young people aged 18-30 living in the EU.

Three lucky winners will be invited to take part in the Young Citizens’ Dialogue event in Sibiu, Romania on 8 May and win an InterRail pass to travel in Europe.
