In November 2018, we held a series of regional engagement workshops with schools, colleges and local authorities to discuss the new post-16 consistent performance measures. The attached report summarises the feedback from delegates, and should be read in conjunction with the workshop presentations.

National Procurement Service revised Framework for Agency Workers
The revised specification will address certain employment practices, and introduce minimum pay rates and require agencies to be transparent in terms of the fees schools are to be charged. It is proposed that the new contractual arrangements will be let from April 2019 and come into force from the 2019/20 academic year. Your local authority should be able to provide further information.

Pembrokeshire College is compiling a database of examples of the use of technology in the assessment of vocational qualifications, on behalf of Qualifications Wales. Free Anti-Racism Conference
Show Racism the Red Card is holding a FREE anti-racism conference for North Wales at Glyndwr University, Wrexham on 14th March 2019. The Welsh Government funded event is for teachers and all practitioners working with young people. The day includes a number of workshops and activities. Register here
