EAS Enrichment and Experiences event – 26 June

Heads, teachers, teaching assistants and governors from all schools in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen are invited to attend a FREE event on how to enrich learning and introduce more experiential learning into your school.

The short day will include three elements: sharing best practice and ideas from other schools, a keynote speech from Professor Colin Beard from Sheffield Business School

EOTAS Framework for Action Consultation Events

The draft Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) Framework for Action consultation is live. These proposals are aimed at improving outcomes for learners accessing education otherwise than at school provision. To support this consultation, events are being held on the 14 July and 20 July 2017

The Education and Public Services Group are inviting nominations for the Queen’s 2018 Birthday list.  If you know of any deserving people who work in the Education, Local Government, Communities, Tackling Poverty, Housing and Regeneration sectors who have demonstrated exceptional achievement or service, then please submit your nomination by 28/07/2017. Centres, learners, and other stakeholders have just two weeks left to take part in a consultation on Qualifications Wales’s regulatory outcomes and the mapping of Conditions. This work helps ensure their regulatory activities focus on learners and the qualification system in Wales.

Money Advice Service – Teachers Outcomes Framework

The Money Advice Service has developed a series of outcomes frameworks and measurement tools to help provide a standardised way of measuring the impact of financial education. This includes a Teachers Outcomes Framework, which identifies the key outcomes and indicators that will help enhance teachers skills, knowledge and understanding to drive their effectiveness of teaching financial education in the classroom.
