Cadw’s Year of Legends will transport you to a world of wonder this Bank Holiday and beyond. From fairies and folklore to medieval weaponry displays and getting to know characters from Wales’s past, we guarantee you won’t be bored! Families and dragon-hunters alike are also invited to meet Cadw's resident Welsh Dragons, ‘Dewi and Dwynwen’, this half-term week at Caerphilly Castle (until Sunday 28 May) and Chepstow Castle (from Monday 29 May).

Visitors are being encouraged to share their experiences on social media by using the hashtag #LivetheLegends.

Fairies

 Find the fairies

Using the Cadw app at Castell Coch now allows you to find and catch digital fairies around our very own fairy tale castle, by using augmented reality. Can you find all of the fluttering fairies?
