It’s been a busy couple of months for the Board, along with the wider industry in Wales, and members have been following up on a number of actions since our last meeting at the end of March, where a range of progress reports were given on key work streams including Business and Investment; People & Skills; Customers and Markets.

Peas Please Initiative

Peas Please aims to bring together farmers, retailers, fast food and restaurant chains, caterers, processors and government departments with a common goal of making it easier for everyone to eat veg. A summit will be hosted by the London Produce Show in Grosvenor Hotel in Park Lane, London acting as an advocacy to major businesses and government bodies. The summit will be a pledging moment, when it is expected that businesses and others will also make commitments.
