Professional Learning Passport (PLP)

The enhanced Passport is now available for all registered practitioners. The Passport is an e-portfolio hosted on the EWC website that supports practitioners in recording and reflecting upon their professional learning through their careers.  The Passport is owned by the practitioner and it will be for individuals to determine with whom and how they share their Passport.

Helping a generation of young people to give their time and talent to  improve their community

The First Give programme is offered to schools free of charge and is fully funded by grant-making trusts

Qualifications Wales: Review of Health, Social Care and Childcare qualifications enters next phase

Qualifications Wales has launched a consultation on the process for developing qualifications in Health and Social Care (including childcare and playwork).  This could potentially see only one approved version of each qualification permitted for use on funded programmes of learning in Wales.

Interested parties are invited to feedback on the consultation document by 5 October 2016, 5pm. 

National Science Academy funded project 2016-2018

Focus on transition between primary and secondary science

Techniquest Glyndŵr has been awarded funding from the Welsh Government to deliver a programme of sessions to better prepare primary pupils for life in secondary school, focussing especially on the transition between KS2 and KS3 science.
