Once the last test for the testing cycle has been
administered, the headteacher must sign confirming that all guidelines were
followed. The declaration for 2016 must be signed and submitted to the relevant
consortium by the 16 June 2016

The diagnostic support tools for the national reading and
numeracy tests are now available. These tools will support teachers’ analysis
of the national test results for their pupils and will map performance to the
National Literacy and Numeracy Framework.

FIRST LEGO League challenges children to think like scientists and
engineers. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using
LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Registration opens on 17 May.
The scheme provides schools and colleges with
grants of up to £500 for projects or events linked to the teaching or promotion
of physics or engineering. The deadline for the autumn term is 1 June 2016.
