Torfaen County
Borough Council is the 2nd buying organisation within
the Local Government Sector to sign an eTrading
Wales change Programme MOU.
Andrew Maisey, Head of Procurement
said “ I see the eTrading
Wales Change Programme as a key driver to increase the number and value of
electronic transactions. The support of Value Wales eProcurement Services and
Procserve will assist Torfaen Council in achieving its objective of increasing
the number of suppliers that can trade with us electronically.”
eTrading Wales
is a service which enables buyers and suppliers to interact electronically for
the supply and payment of goods and services. Procserve are delivering the Change
Programme on behalf of Value Wales to
all National Procurement Service (NPS) member organisations. For
information about eTrading Wales including specific information for both Buyers
and Suppliers please visit the website.
Please be aware of some small changes made to Sell2Wales
in the latest software release on Friday 9th October 2015.
FLAGGING NOTICES AS EU FINANCED PROJECTS
Within OJEU notices to date buyers have been asked to
state whether the project is financed by EU Funds. If so you are asked to
provide further information about the funding - whether it is funded by WEFO,
ERDF or any other investment programme - which is inserted into the notice.
This feature has now been added to sub-OJEU notices. An icon will now appear
against the notice when displayed on Sell2Wales to reflect that the procurement
is subject to EU funding. This icon is a EURO symbol.
TEST SQUID EXERCISES
A feature has been added to the SQuID module which allows
you to mark an exercise as a test. This is to allow the Sell2Wales project
group to accurately report on SQuID usage on Sell2Wales. If you are using the
website to test the SQuID module but don't intend to use the resultant question
set in a procurement exercise please tick the "test" box at the
beginning of squizard creation.
If you have any queries on these changes please contact
the Sell2Wales Support Desk.
