A huge thank you to everyone who hosted an event as part of this year’s Uttlesford Big Green Festival.

From community groups to local businesses and passionate individuals, your creativity, energy and commitment brought the festival to life across the district.

The festival has helped spark conversations, build connections and show what’s possible when we work collectively towards a greener Uttlesford. The enthusiasm and dedication shown goes far beyond a single week of events, and it’s that ongoing effort that continues to drive positive change in our communities.

We will look to organise a 'Celebration & Thank You' event in the near future to bring all the event hosts together – date and details to follow!

Looking ahead: Keeping the momentum going

While the Big Green Festival may be over for this year, the momentum we’ve built together doesn’t stop here.

Across Uttlesford, inspiring ideas are already taking root – from community-led projects and behaviour changes at home, to new partnerships and local initiatives. The festival is just the beginning of what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose.

We would love to see your ideas continue to grow. Whether it’s developing an event into something longer-term, collaborating with others you met during the festival, or exploring new ways to engage the community, every step helps move us towards a low-carbon, environmentally responsible district.

There will be plenty of opportunities ahead to stay involved, share learning and build on your success.
