TouchPoint Radio is showing a keen interest in this year’s festival and is looking to connect with event hosts across the programme.
It is a great community-focused platform which can help to shine a spotlight on events and the people behind them, as well as to reach new audiences.
If you would like to get involved or explore potential coverage, please feel free to get in touch with Richard Haywood direct.

Students from across Uttlesford are getting stuck into an exciting media and marketing competition as part of this year’s Big Green Festival, run by Uttlesford District Council with the University of Essex Business School.
They will be heading out to festival events to create real-world content – from short videos to photo stories and articles – building valuable creative skills along the way.
If you see students at your event as part of this project, please do give them a warm welcome. This is a brilliant initiative that helps showcase the festival while supporting the next generation of storytellers.
Entries close on 22 June.

The festival kicks off this coming Friday (5 June) with our launch event!
We will be celebrating all the community action that has has been happening on nature recovery and low carbon projects across the district.
The session will blend storytelling with reflection, showcasing what has been achieved, including through the Zero Carbon Communities Fund, while looking ahead to the next phase of local climate action.
We would love all event hosts to come along. We would particularly value your input and reflections on your successes and challenges, and how we move forward to scale up local engagement.
Please share the event details to your groups and networks, and encourage everyone to attend. There will be drinks and nibbles available. We look forward to seeing you there!

The communications toolkit is available to help in the promotion of the festival and your events. It includes posters, social media graphics, logos, a festival map and more.
We have also put together a legacy support pack to help you collect information about attendees at your events. It includes data capturing forms, as well as materials to help promote the festival hashtag – #UttlesfordBGF – at your events.
