Join us for an informative evening to learn more about the waste journey in the district, ambitious recycling targets in Essex, and what happens now none of Uttlesford’s waste goes to landfill.  

Light refreshments will be provided, and there will be opportunities to meet and connect with like-minded groups in the Sustainable Uttlesford network. 

Speakers include Ben Brown, Director of Climate and Environment and Becky Tomkins, Waste and Recycling Officer, from Uttlesford District Council. They will guide us through what happens to our waste once it is collected, tell us where Uttlesford stands in the recycling charts, and discuss how we can improve our recycling rates.
