 Bury Farm, Great Canfield
Wednesday 11 June , 7pm to 9pm
Dear Sustainable Uttlesford member,
Please join us for our next event looking at how to make successful community clusters around a joint ecological aim.
Jane and Jonathan of the River Roding and West Essex Farm Cluster will be hosting the event and sharing what they have learnt about how to successfully bring people together to improve and enhance local habitats.
The evening will include a tour of the farm to experience the improvements that have been made to engage residents with this project on their doorstep. There will also be an opportunity to explore the river restoration project. Experts will be on hand to help us identify wildlife and plants as well as practical methods of recording ecological features. If this is of interest to you, please download the Merlin-Bird ID and iRecord Apps before the event.
No social event is complete without the sharing of food! Jane and Jonathan are catering the event with sustainable produce from their farm – they just ask that you bring your own plates, cutlery and flask of tea or coffee, along with a picnic blanket or foldable chair.
Please email events@sustainable-uttlesford.org.uk to let us know if you have any dietary or access requirements.
Car parking is available on-site. We kindly ask attendees to travel as sustainably as they can and car share where possible.
Places are limited and tickets will be issued on a first-come-first-serve basis.
