 Essex ActivAte is the Holiday Activity and Food programme run by Active Essex in partnership with Essex County Council and funded by the Department for Education.
The Essex ActivAte works with a network of locally trusted organisations across the county to deliver free, holiday clubs to support the physical and mental wellbeing of eligible children.
Activity clubs support school aged children (4-16yrs) who are eligible for benefits based free school meals, or from 'low-income' working families, also a small number of other eligible groups.

Supermarket cafes, chain restaurants and food venues all around the UK are offering the 'Kids Eat Free' or Kids Eat for £1 deal during school holidays.
Search online for 'Kids eat free' to find participating places to eat near you.
Uttlesford Council has a new support offer for Ukrainians living in Uttlesford and eligible under the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
From the 15th May, Ukrainian refugees living in Uttlesford can apply for a deposit, 6 week’s rent in advance and a council guarantee to support moving out of host accommodation and into private rental properties.
Additionally, some individuals will be able to apply for a dedicated fund to help pay the difference between market value rent and local housing allowance.

Individual Support Grant
You can apply for up to £500 per person (or £1500 per person for moving/relocation costs) to put towards a specific need that helps Ukrainian individuals to live more independently and become more connected with their local communities.

The Community Grant Fund is to help pay for activities, events and projects.

Essex County Council have recently commissioned Kids Inspire to provide trauma recovery help for Ukrainians in Essex.
This service is for children and adults and can be accessed by emailing their clinical administration team on clinicaladmin@kidsinspire.org.uk
