With February half term soon approaching we understand the difficulties you may find to keep your child entertained and the extra stress that may be caused in relation to childcare.
Essex ActiveAte (run by Active Essex) provides a series of activities throughout the Uttlesford that you may want to access. If the sessions are not accessible or suitable for your child you can apply for funding towards activities or holiday programmes in the area that support your child’s integration.
Please make sure that you wait for full authorisation before paying for any activities as we are unable to pay for things retrospectively.
Their activity clubs support school aged children (4-16yrs) who are eligible for benefits based free school meals, or from 'low-income' working families, also a small number of other eligible groups.

Essex ActiveAte (під керівництвом Active Essex) організовує різні заходи відпочинку якими у Вас буде можливість скористатися. Якщо запропоновані заходи по якійсь причині не підходять Вашій дитині, Ви можете подати заяву на фінансування інших заходів у нашій місцевості, які сприятимуть інтеграції Вашої дитини.
Увага Будь ласка перед тим як оплатити інші заходи дозвілля, зачекайте остаточного рішення по Вашій заяві. Пам’ятайте, фінансування не надається ретроспективно.

Individual Support Grant
You can apply for up to £500 per person (or £1500 per person for moving/relocation costs) to put towards a specific need that helps Ukrainian individuals to live more independently and become more connected with their local communities.

Ви можете подати заяву на суму до £500 на одну особу, або £1500 на одну особу для переїзду у нове помешкання або для переїзду у другу область. Цей грант е на конкретні потреби які допоможуть Українських особам жити незалежно та бути більше сполученими з місцевим громадськім життям.

Any person who holds permission to enter or to stay in the United Kingdom under the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme route can be disregarded for the purposes of Council Tax. This means that if you sponsor a Ukrainian refugee who holds permission to enter or stay in the UK under the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme and they live with you, you will not lose your Council Tax discount or exemption.
If you claim the 25% sole occupancy discount and you then share your home with one or more Ukrainian refugees, you will continue to receive a 25% discount because Ukrainian refugees will be disregarded for the purposes of Council Tax.
If you are claiming a Council Tax exemption because the occupiers of your property are either students, under 18 or are severely mentally impaired, and you then share your home with one or more Ukrainian refugees, you will continue to receive the exemption. Where an exempt empty property becomes occupied by Ukrainian refuges, the Council Tax exemption will continue in most cases.
Ukrainian refugees 50% discount
Ukrainian refugees who hold permission to enter or to stay in the UK under the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme and who live in their own property (not with a sponsor) can claim a 50% discount available if the property is occupied only by Ukrainian refugees. In this case, the Council Tax bill will be issued in the name of the occupiers.
Eligibility
Ukrainian refugees who hold permission to enter or to stay in the UK under the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme are eligible under this scheme.
How to apply
In all cases we will need the full names of the Ukrainian refugees, the date their tenancy began, the date they moved in and a copy of any documentation you have that confirms permission to enter or to stay in the United Kingdom granted under the Governments Homes for Ukraine Scheme. This information should be sent by email directly to the Council Tax team at revenues@uttlesford.go.uk
Будь-хто хто має дозвіл в’їхати у Великобританію по програмі Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme не зобов’язаний до сплати Муніципального Податку. Це означає якщо Ви е спонсором Українського біженця у якого е дозвіл на в’їзд та проживання у Великобританії по програмі Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme і ця особа живе з вами, Ви не втратите свою знижку або звільнення на Муніципальний Податок.
Якщо Ви проживаєте один і отримуєте 25 процентів знижку та розділяєте свое житло з одним або декілька Українських Біженців, Ви не втратите свою знижку на Муніципальний Податок.
Якщо Ви отримаете звільнення від Муніципального Податку тому що мешканцям вашого будинку е менше чим 18 років, або вони е студентами або це е люди з підтвердженим діагнозом проблеми з психічним здоров‘ям, і Ви приймете до себе на проживання Українських Біженців, Ви будете продовжувати отримувати звільнення. Якщо житдло у якому ніхто не проживає і мае звільнення від Муніципального Податку і в нього поселятся Українські Біженці, у більшості випадків за цім житлом залишаться звільнення від Муніципального Податку.
Ukrainian Refugees 50 present discount- 50 процентів знижка для Українських Біженців
Українські Біженці у яких е дозвіл на в’їзд та проживання у Великобританії по програмі Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme, які самостійно винаймують собі житло можуть подати заяву на 50 процентів знижки на Муніципальний Податок. В цьому випадку, Рахунок Муніципального Податку буде зареестрованим на ім’я мешканців цього житла.

Українські Біженці у яких е дозвіл на в’їзд та проживання у Великобританії по програмі Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme, підпадають під ці критерії та можуть подати заяву.
How to apply -Як подати заяву
У всіх випадках, нам потрібно ім’я та прізвище Українських Біженців, дата з якого часу винаймуется житло, дата заселення в житло, та копія документу який підтверджує дозвіл на в’їзд та проживання у Великобританії по програмі Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme. Пришліть цю інформацію по електронній почті до відділу Муніципального Податку revenues@uttlesford.gov.uk
