Residents have been taking to social media to express their thanks to the recycling and waste crews who are working tirelessly to maintain a service throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
The refuse, recycling and food waste bin collections are running as normal at the present time* thanks to their efforts.
Please do continue to show them your support.

Message from Essex County Council
Residents across Essex are playing their part in reducing the spread of the coronavirus by:
The amount of traffic in Essex is now consistently over 60% less than this time last year. This is despite asking people not to car share or use public transport. The weekend saw more than a 70% reduction against this time last year.
With Easter now approaching, it’s more important than ever residents stay at home, and continue to minimise the spread of coronavirus…
Stay safe, stay home, save lives.
