The government has made two grants available to retail, hospitality and leisure businesses in response to the current coronavirus (Covid-19) situation.
There are two grant funding schemes:
- £10,000 under the Small Business Grant Fund
- Either £10,000 or £25,000 under the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant Fund

Small Business Grant Fund of £10,000
To be eligible for the grant, your property must have:

This fund is intended to support businesses across England in sectors that are being profoundly impacted by Covid-19 and which are crucial to local economies.

What you can't apply for
You can not apply for a grant:
- For car parks and parking spaces
- If your property is used for personal uses, e.g. private stables or personal storage
- If the business was in liquidation or was dissolved on 11 March 2020
- If the rateable value of the property is more than £50,999
