Time is running out! The final public review of the Telford & Wrekin Local Plan closes on 5 May 2025, and this is your last opportunity to provide feedback before it is submitted for independent examination. 

This plan will shape our borough until 2040, ensuring: 

• New homes for all generations 

• 17,000 jobs created through business growth 

• New schools and expanded healthcare services 

• Green space protection – keeping Telford one of the UK’s greenest boroughs 

• Improved infrastructure – including roads, transport, and active travel networks 

During this stage of the Local Plan, residents and stakeholders have a further opportunity to provide comments on the soundness of the plan before it is submitted to the independent nationally appointed Planning Inspector who will consider them alongside the need for any amendments to the plan before it is formally adopted.
