Congratulations to our latest cohort of Access to Higher Education learners who have celebrated their achievement at a special graduation event this month.
The group have all completed one year Learn Telford Access to HE (Education) and Access to HE (Health Professionals) courses during the 2022-23 academic year.
Many learners are now looking forward to starting courses at both local universities and others across the UK from September.
Councillor Eileen Callear (Lab), Telford & Wrekin Council’s Cabinet Member for Education, Employment and Visitor Economy, presented achievers with their certificates at the graduation event at the Ramada Hotel Telford.
New Access to HE Education and Access to HE Health Professionals courses start on Friday 22 September 2023.
Our functional skills courses are offered across Telford in community venues. We run morning and afternoon sessions during school term time only. We offer four levels of English functional skills from Entry 2 through to Level 2.
This information session is for adults who do not have English as a first language. You will be asked to complete a short skills screening so that we can offer you a place on a suitable course.
The course is intended for those who are preparing to progress to working with children in a school as a teaching assistant, seeking work as a lunch-time supervisor or who plan to volunteer in a school.
