One pound school holiday activities launched for Easter
Telford & Wrekin Council’s one-pound kids holiday activities are back for the Easter school holidays, helping residents to spend less and stay local once again.
Important advice for schools during Ramadan
Guidance to support children who choose to fast during Ramadan. An ideal opportunity to discuss the importance of the Islamic Festival of Ramadan with children and develop closer links with Muslim parents and communities. Support staff to have good understanding of the meaning and importance of the fasting month.

Easter 2023 activities available to book on to now, don’t miss out!
The Happy Healthy Active Holiday’s scheme will be running through the Easter holidays (Saturday 1 April to Sunday 16 April 2023). Holiday activities will be available for children and young people who are receiving income-based free school meals.
CSE Inquiry Response – Site Security Audit
A reminder for head teachers, school leads, DSLs and CSE Leads in all schools and colleges/post-16 settings that the Site Security Audit is open for responses until 30 March 2023.
Independent Travel Training (ITT) – part of the SEND Telford & Wrekin Local Offer
To support young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to become more independent, we are offering the Independent Travel Training as part of the local SEND offer.

Telford sings – giving children and young people a chance to participate in a music performance
Over two days, more than 300 children from 16 schools took part in Telford Sings. Inspiring children in our community to discover a talent and love for singing is important.
