The High Sheriff of Shropshire's outstanding young citizen award has been running for a number of years and is given in recognition of excellence and outstanding attitudes and actions among young people, who make a significant difference to their local community.
This year Eleanor Greening was nominated for her contribution to Young People's Forum (YPF) and her voluntary work at MyFam youth clubs. Eleanor originally started attending YPF as a way to increase her confidence and social activity. Through this she has thrived and her confidence has grown to such an extent that she is now helping other young people to do the same
For more information on the Young People's Forum, please email sian.makin@telford.gov.uk
