Ironbridge Gorge flooding update - 7.50am, 26 Feb
River levels in the Ironbridge Gorge are this morning at 6.8 metres and partners continue to monitor the situation very closely.
The Environment Agency (EA) said the barriers on the Wharfage moved in one location overnight but the temporary flood barriers remain stable and have not overtopped overnight.
However should flood water could still overtop the barriers although river levels are now rising slowly and we remain vigilant to the risk of the barrier being overtopped.
