What our crews are working on

Roadswork continues in Kingsway Crescent, Kingsland, Charles Road and Arleston Avenue, Manor Road, Toll Road and Stone Crescent, Arleston and Ercall Lane, Hollies Road and Orleton Lane, Wellington.

Church Aston culvert – The Dale in Church Aston remains closed following the collapse of the carriageway earlier this month. Crews are carrying out further surveys of the underground culvert to try and establish its extent. The culvert is thought to be more than 150 years old and does not appear on any maps. The road will be shut for up to four weeks.

Footpaths improvements continue in Oakengates and The Nedge.

Road liningroad lining crews are in Little Wenlock and Wrockwardine parishes on a find and fix basis.

Signingcrews are working in Brookside and College wards.

Grit bin survey – our borough-wide grit bin survey is now completed.Information on grit bins, including locations here

Potholes – ‘Find it Fix it’ crews are filling potholes that have been reported to us. Please report any potholes you spot here or via the Everyday Telford app.

Street lightingcrews are working on upgrading street lights in Ketley, Wellington/Wrockwardine, Great Dawley and Lawley & Overdale. If you have a question about street lighting, please email streetlighting@telford.gov.uk.

Litter picking, grass cutting and pruning – crews are out grass cutting, pruning, weeding and litter picking. You can report a grounds maintenance issue here. Anyone wanting to report an issue with littering in their area can do so here.

Improvements in Hollies Road and surrounding area in Wellington continue until mid-December. Temporary road closures will be in place, but are being phased in order to keep disruption to local residents and businesses to a minimum. Street champions – our volunteers are doing a champion job in their communities. They report issues they see to us and do litter picks (among other things).
