First section of new footbridge to be lifted into place

One of Europe's largest cranes will be arriving in Telford from Wednesday, June 27 to lift the first section of the new footbridge into place.

As a result, a number of road closures and diversions will be necessary - including the A442 - also known as the Queensway/Eastern Primary

Businesses in Telford are being asked to look carefully at the closures to help minimise the impact on operations and to help ease congestion around peak travel times.
