Proposed new deal could mean parking enforcement switch

A deal has been mutually agreed between Telford & Wrekin Council Leader Councillor Shaun Davies and the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion which could enable responsibility for parking enforcement to switch to the local authority.

Community buildings across borough get near £1m Telford 50 Legacy Fund boost

Almost £1m will be made available to help regenerate community buildings and facilities across the borough to leave a lasting legacy from Telford’s 50th anniversary.

Last month we appealed for your help in tracing whoever was responsible for fly tipping this distinctive wallpaper in Sutton Hill.

Thanks to your help the culprit was caught and fined.
