Tower Hamlets parks summer holiday programme includes adventure play, arts and crafts, planting and nature activities.

The Victoria Park team are offering a range of experiences including fishing taster sessions, pond dipping and themed walks.  All activities are free and open to all families who live, work or study in Tower Hamlets.

This summer’s reading challenge is already underway, but it’s not too late to join in the fun.

The challenge invites children aged four to 11 years old to read six library books over the summer holidays and win some fantastic prizes! It's fun, free and easy to take part in.

Join Idea Store for storytelling, games and art activities that will spark your child's creativity and ignite their imagination.

In addition to their summer events, Idea Store will still be offering their regular children's activities throughout the summer holiday.

Free family cycle training this summer

Free family cycle training

Bikeworks are offering free cycle training over the summer for families with up to six members.

During the three-day course, instructors will work closely with your family to understand your needs and offer bespoke training to meet your expectations.

Not suitable for complete beginners.

Summer Art East – Tower Hamlets Council’s Free Summer Arts Programme

Free Summer Art East programme

Join a range of exciting activities for young people aged 11 - 19 years old (up to 25 years with special educational needs and disabilities).  Take part until Wednesday 30 August.

Young people in Tower Hamlets can get creative this summer with free school holiday activities across the borough.

Workshops include dance, stop-motion animation, DJ-ing and music making, drama, creative writing, henna workshops and much more!

Activities are open to young people who live, work or study in Tower Hamlets.  All activities are free but require advance booking as spaces are limited.
