There’s a fantastic range of free activities this summer in parks and venues across the borough. There is something for all ages - from adventure play, fun on the farm to music production, theatre, dance and lots more.
Many of the activities are suitable for all the family, so get involved and join in the summer fun!
The Local Offer is also here to support families over the summer holiday period, with information on upcoming events, activities, help with food and services for children, young people and families.
Have your say on the availability of childcare in Tower Hamlets by taking part in an online survey. By doing so, you will help shape the future of childcare within the borough. The survey closes on Friday 29 July.
You can also share your views through an online focus group. You’ll have the chance to join an open discussion and share your experiences of accessing childcare in the borough.

If you are a resident of Tower Hamlets you can visit the Tower of London for just £1. To take advantage of this special offer, all you need to do is take along your Idea Store or Tower Hamlets library card with proof of your name and address (for example a utility bill). Then you can explore all the delights the Tower of London has to offer!
The Summer Reading Challenge has already started, but children can still get involved by visiting any of the borough's Idea Stores and libraries, or by joining online.
Read six books over the summer holiday period to receive a gold medal and certificate, as well as other goodies along the way!
The Parenting Team have devised a collection of positive parenting sessions that are delivered either online or in-person and are open to all parents and carers in Tower Hamlets. Join us for the next one on supporting teenage children and young people.

Learn digital photography, music production and how to create videos, podcasts and social media content this summer.
Join the free, digital skills course for young people aged 12-25 years. For four weeks in August, you’ll pick up the creative skills you need to produce engaging content while developing your communication skills.
Tower Hamlets Children and Family Centres are hosting four exciting community fun days for children, young people and their families this summer. Held in different parts of the borough, it is a chance to come and meet friends, have fun and find out what support and services are available for families.
