The Tower Hamlets Holiday Childcare Scheme provides quality childcare for children aged 3 - 13 years old. The summer scheme will be at:
Malmesbury Primary School, Coborn Street, E3 2AB
Monday 25 July – Friday 19 August
Places are limited. Bookings for the scheme have already opened for working parents. Bookings for non-working parents will open on Tuesday 5 July at 12 noon.

We're researching residents' experiences of accessing childcare for children of all ages (including older school aged children).
The survey will also ask for views on the impact of Covid-19 and arrangements for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Your voice is vital - the deadline has been extended until the end of July to allow more parents and carers to respond. Please help by completing the survey by Friday 29 July.
You can also attend Saturday's Parent and Carer Council meeting (more information given later in the e-bulletin) to take part in an online focus group on this topic.
Parents and carers are welcome to come along to the Parent and Carer Council meeting, listen to other parents and key speakers and give their views about services that are available to parents in the borough.

Meet the Directors of the Education and Supporting Families divisions at the council, hear about the support available through the borough’s family hubs programme and share your views on accessing childcare locally.
The Parenting Team have devised a collection of positive parenting sessions that are delivered either online or in person and are open to all parents and carers in Tower Hamlets. Upcoming sessions include:
- Reducing family conflict, Wednesday 6 July at 10am (online)
- Encouraging positive behaviour, Friday 8 July at 10am (in person)
- Building teen survival skills, Wednesday 13 July at 10am (online)
Platform to Talk is a safe space for parents to come together, share their experiences and get reliable information. The sessions cover a range of topical issues including family life, parenting and health and wellbeing.
The next Platform to Talk will give you a chance to share your thoughts on eating habits and snacking. You’ll discover how by making small changes and swapping unhealthy snacks for healthier alternatives, you can make a real difference to your family’s health and wellbeing.

The network is a great way for you to meet with other Somali parents and share your experiences relating to education and parenting as well as hear from guest speakers on a range of topics. The next meeting is on:

You’ll also be updated on senior leaders’ plans following the SEND Local Area Inspection.
