 Go Fizz Free this February
Why not #GoFizzFree this February, for a healthier you and a healthier future?
- Drinks high in sugar can lead to the build-up of harmful fat on the inside which can cause weight gain, increasing the risk of heart disease, Type 2 Diabetes and some cancers
-
Levels of tooth decay are high in Tower Hamlets, with about a third of 5 year olds with one or more decayed, missing or filled teeth compared with about a quarter of five-year-olds in England
- In the UK, 43% of soft drink bottles are not recycled after use and take 400 years to decompose
- Other benefits include saving money and by avoiding caffeinated drinks like cola and energy drinks, we can experience better sleep too
Make the pledge to go fizz free for the whole month of February. Share your progress and motivations by tagging @SugarSmartUK and using the hashtag #GoFizzFree.
