Holiday Hunger

Food support for families over the summer

To help support families over the summer with children up to 18 years of age who are in school, the council has set up a number of hubs distributing meals and activity packs. Food will change on a daily basis and there is no limit to how many days a child can access food. All meals are vegetarian and are a mixture of ready to eat hot food and prepared chilled meals that can go in the microwave or the oven. Parents will be asked to complete a short form with the child’s details and also a track and trace form.

We kindly request that adults collecting food wear a mask. Food can be collected from 12 until 2.30pm from the following sites:

- Gayton House, Chilltern road, E3 4BX - Monday to Friday

- Harford Street Multi-centre, near Ocean Estate E1 4FG - Monday to Friday

- Isle of Dog's Children's Centre, Stebondale Street E14 3BX - Monday, Wednesday and Friday

- Meath Gardens Children's Centre, 1 Smart Street E1 0SN - Monday to Friday

- Brady Arts and Community Centre, 192-196 Hanbury Street, London E1 5HU - Monday to Friday

- St. Mary's Church Cable Street, 68 Johnson St, London E1 0BQ - Monday to Friday
