Here's a selection of fun activities for you and your family...
Gardening benefits to the mind, body and soul
The Royal Horticultural Society outline their top tips for harnessing the power of gardening to improve your mental health and wellbeing. This includes tips on how to start growing; the benefits of learning a new skill and ideas to visit gardens. You could even join a community gardening project, where you will make friends and transform the world you live in at the same time!
Top tips for field sketching nature
Darwin's Rival, a children's book by Christiane Dorion, is all about Alfred Russel Wallace, Charles Darwin's rival. He spent years taking accurate drawings of the natural world around him. Even though we can now take instant photographs, field sketching really helps us to slow down and really see all the nature around us.
Now you can learn to field sketch by following along with the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF's) Learn to Love Nature Live event, where they teach observers how to make their own field sketch.
 Move Crew
Nike Move Crew is a programme designed alongside the expertise of teachers, physical activity specialists, elite athletes, children and coaches. Each mission aims to help children unlock their 60 minutes of daily recommended activity. There are also lots of resources including family-friendly activities and fun movement games and challenges. You can join in using #nikemovecrew.
 Tofu recipe ideas
Tofu is a great alternative to meat and an easy way to add variety to vegetarian meals. These delicious BBC recipes featured on the BBC Food website range from a tofu & peanut vegan stir-fry, tofu Thai green curry and spicy tofu fajitas.
